The National Hotel

Our yearly trip to The National Hotel never disappoints us only wants us to stay longer! Tuesday morning my husband and I were greeted by Julie the manager and Cindy at the front desk. Julie and Cindy win the hospitality award for making you making our stay a home away from home. Our room was spotless, the outside entertainment, and location makes this Hotel so special. Thank you Julie and Cindy and to your wonderful staff for making our trip such a pleasure.

I recommend sitting on the porch because the views are 10/10 and we have always had great service. The National also has my favorite hot lobster roll! The new menu items this summer are worth checking out as well.

The entire staff at the National is incredible. Always helpful, cheerful and accommodating. I do not know how they keep that pace, but they do to make certain everything runs perfectly and smoothly. The food is delicious!! The music and fire pits are cozy and such a really nice addition. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. All I can say is that, once again, (many years a summer guest) for me, the entire experience creates relaxing, fun and enjoyable memories! I so dislike when it ends.

Loved everything about my stay at The National. It is conveniently located within a short walk from the ferry. The room was very clean and comfortable(all the rooms have A/C). The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Even more convenient is the wonderful restaurant and bar on the main level. There was also live music on the back porch in the evening, which was very nice with our dinner beside the fire pits.

We had such a wonderful stay at the National Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was so welcoming—and they even let us check in early, which was a lifesaver since we had our little kids with us. Our room had a gorgeous front-facing view of the ocean, and wow—what a scene! We could watch people walking along the waterfront, ferries coming and going, and our kids absolutely loved every bit of it. The room itself was the perfect size, smelled fresh and clean, and housekeeping did an amazing job during our two-day stay. The hotel grounds were beautifully kept. On one side, you had the garden area with live music in the evenings, cozy fire pit seating, and great drinks. On the oceanfront side, their restaurant offered fantastic food, and it was so convenient to have it rig
