Payne's Harbor View Inn

We stayed in Room 3 this past weekend. We were met by Sandra and she got us all checked in with a smile. The view is amazing and the room was lovely and clean. We’ve been visiting Block for 31+ years. Mostly in the summer for multiple weeks. We do like coming in the fall for weekends and this by far has been the best accommodations we’ve had for our weekend getaways. Another perk is the breakfast in the morning, including killer donuts iykyk, and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Would totally recommend staying here!!

We were celebrating a 50th birthday party with a group of friends who were staying at various places on the island. The day before our arrival, Hurricane Erin was creating ferry service interruptions. I contacted Carmen about trying to get to the island a day early, and she helped me with locating a room if we were to get over. Unfortunately we couldn't get out early and arrived the day of our original check-in. ||Carmen was in constant contact with us to see if our plans changed. ||We arrived earlier than expected, and Kevin was really helpful. HE showed us the home and where the amenities were located inside. Our room (2) was on the 2nd floor with a large king sized bed and private bath. We had a small balcony that had a high top table and seating for 2 that overlooked New Harbor. ||The

We stayed at Payne's Harbor View Inn on Labor Day weekend and it was the perfect stay. The location is great. About a 20 minute walk from the ferry and then close to the beach and many other Block Island hot spots (The Oar, Dead Eye Dicks, Mahogany Shoals etc.). The room was so clean and the complimentary breakfast was awesome! We loved sitting out on the back lawn and overlooking the water in the evening before dinner. Although I'm sure the hotel was sold out, it being Labor Day weekend, it was so quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back!

Payne’s was recommended to us by friends who have stayed there several times. The B and B was just lovely. We stayed in room 10, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The view from our private balcony was incredible. Great continental breakfast, and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Have been going to Block Island all my life, many times, and just last week was the first time my wife and I stayed at Payne's Harbor View Inn. We had a great stay and were very happy with all of it. Staff was always helpful, the whole place was clean, the breakfast was good, and it was generally a great place to hang out when we needed a break from zipping around the island. Easy walk to town or down to the Payne's Dock area. We will certainly stay with them again.
