Elegant, classy, warm and welcoming. i was warmly greeted and the concierge introduced himself by name, and said if I needed anything, he was there for me.

A beautiful historic Hotel within walking distance from The White House, Capitol, And the Monument. There is major construction in front and around The White House so if you want to see it, it's best to go another time. Also within walking distance of the Milkin Center of the American Dream Museum- a new free museum which is amazing!! The hotel suite was beautiful, comfortable bed, large closet with a hotel robe. Huge TV's and a ballroom where Presidents had inaugural balls. Nixon and Truman even stayed there. Mbers of the Kennedy family even stay there when in town for events! The staff are super friendly and RAPHAEL (a doorman) was so nice and friendly! Super nice guy!! We'll definitely return there to stay again!

Perfect stay. I stayed here twice and everything was perfect. Hotel is a classic and well maintained. The staff was genuine and helpful, and while there was a $40 destination fee, the $20 restaurant and $10 Uber credits made that reasonable.||Also I am Platinum and on both occasions, received a suite upgrade. Finally, on one of the stays, they had live holiday music on the main floor.
