The Majestic

I liked having a large common area and a shared kitchen with a full sized fridge and oven. The room was a bit tight with a king bed but was clean and well appointed. The tub was a strange shape but the hot water was plentiful. Like most places, the room was not set up well for reading books but the common area had good reading lighting. I understand that physical books are an anachronism in this age of cell phones. I never saw the host/hostess so cannot comment properly on the service. Best place to stay in Leadville with easy walking access to the city center.

The place was so cool, like stepping into a time warp. It has so much character. We took advantage of the common areas and all the cool games they had out. Rick, the owner, was great to chat with as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

The beds are super comfy, the rooms are clean, and staff is attentive. The house is a shared space, but plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining. Close to the main area so you can easily walk to all shops and restaurants. Loved the old charm of the place. Prices are reasonably good.

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay here. We stayed in the Sisters Suite. The bed was just right for us and the room was warm and cozy. The owners, Rick and Bec, are so nice and took great care of us. Parking on the street can be a slight issue because of the pizza place across the street, but it did not really inconvenience us very much. The bonus is that you have delicious pizza right across the street. The home itself is beautiful and a joy to walk through. We barely heard other guests the entire time. We would love to stay here again the next hiking trip we plan to Leadville!

The rooms were clean and well maintained, the linens were fresh, the bed was comfortable. We used the sitting area to converse in the evening and the coffee area to converse in the morning. It was a great location to town and a great experience. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
