S.L.umber Yard

We rolled into Leadville after dark,and we're expecting another room for the nite. While driving down a side road, we saw a bright blue train car, surrounded by rustic looking cabins, we stopped, and that was such a a good idea. The clerk was super friendly and helpful, we decided to stay a second nite. Inside was like a cabin in the woods, without the drafts. Kitchen,nice bathroom, and some retro appliances. We loved it, thank you to whoever dreamed up this place!

Amazing boutique venue with high end cabins. Fully equipped kitchenettes, comfortable beds, streaming television and stereos, super friendly staff and perfect location next to The Freight for weddings and events...must see, must stay in Leadville. Train whistles add to the ambience!

Such a gem! We had an excellent time staying here. The cabins are incredibly clean, cute, and comfy. Modern, yet you feel like you've stepped back in time a little bit. Such a cool vibe! They have everything we needed to cook some meals, hang out, and get a great night's sleep. Loved the quiet, and the proximity to shops and restaurants. Our pup loved the provided dog bed! We're already thinking about when we should come back.

This was a last minute find after a day spent at a mechanic in another town. We didn't want to drive Independence Pass in the dark and this spot was a great choice! What a GEM! Also shout out to Jill at the front desk, she was helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this unique little spot

The cabins are so lovely and the host is very nice! Here is the place you must live if you come to Leadville. We’ll definitely come back again!
