Buckeye's Cabin

Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the cabin. Very cute place and clean. Close to Leadville and many outdoor activities. A highway very close by but was nice being so close to Leadville. I have never in my life seen so many hummingbirds. Thanks for a great visit.

What can I say, this log cabin culdesac is Colorado perfection. We got priced out as the owner grew his business buying up all four cabins. But none the less, great memories with my young children skiing Cooper, Copper and Monarch. 👍👍

My wife and I stayed in "Tashi's" cabin for 4 glorious nights . Cabin was cozy , well supplied with cooking utensils . Regardless of proximity to the road it was very quiet . Actually I could have used a fan for the noise but not a big deal . Ceiling fan would have been nice but I will not complain ! I have not complaints about the cabin or its owners. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and tree's and its very own hiking path that leads to an old mine . Description was NOT deceptive if you did the research and Google maped the place you can clearly see it's location . Maybe it's just me but complaining about the road being there sounds like one might have the taste of " ASPEN" perfect place for a hipster .

We stayed at Luna's cabin for the weekend, and we were anticipating a peaceful, secluded mountain getaway. The reason for me giving 3 stars is that the photos posted by the owners are quite deceptive regarding the distance from a busy highway. As you can see from my photos, CO-19 is approximately 30 feet from the cabin. Without the TV on, you can hear constant traffic even with the door closed. Trying to sit on the porch to relax was impossible because the road is so loud. The cabin is basically as pictured on the website, very homey and comfortable, and the other 3 cabins are far enough from Luna's to allow for privacy. We would have definitely had a wonderful, romantic honeymoon weekend if it hadn't been for the constant noise.
