The Magnolia Historic Southern Inn

Stayed in the Magnolia Cottage. Everything about this little piece of heaven was perfect! The furnishings were clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans and dishes/cups. Was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful fig tree outside of one of the bedroom windows. The back yard area was nice sized for our dog. The town of Summerville was just lovely and staying in the Magnolia Cottage made the trip heaven! Highly recommend!!!

We (two adults/0 children) rented "The Cottage" (2 bdrms/1 bath/living rm/galley kitchen) for a week while in town for a friend's wedding. It was PERFECT! The property is well maintained and while there are a few things that could be added or changed, we were 110% satisfied with the current amenities! The innkeeper, Lauren, checked on us a few times, and offered great local area suggestions for places to visit or to try for lunch/dinner. The location is great for walking to local eateries, shopping, parks, and is a short drive to downtown Charleston. (About 30 minutes - short in Texas terms!) If I'm ever back in this area, this will be the first property I check for availability!

Located just off main street. You can walk to several places and never need your car. An intimate way to experience Summerville. The bed is comfy, A/C works really well, and it's nice to get out just the two of us without the kids. An onsite inn keeper is available to answer any questions you may have. Personal touches were nice.

Very interesting place. Clean, great layout for my family. Loved the location to town and to all things Summerville. One pic here is from the park nearby which was well worth a walk through, even in the off season. The service and staff seemed responsive and friendly. Would stay here again!

I live in summerville, but moved there from New England. I was only visiting friends who were staying here while vacationing in SC. This place is extremely well taken care of, excellent location, and a very keen hand set up the aesthetics. The large southern style porch is amazing as well as it comes equipped with a hammock, this is a wonderful feature. I live in this town and now I have even considered staying just to give this place my business.
