Homewood Suites by Hilton Summerville

As Hilton Honors members for 20+ years, we have stayed at a lot of different properties in the Hilton portfolio. We have been very happy with Homewood Suites but disappointed at this location. Modern looking property with friendly, helpful well trained staff. Well appointed suite, everything in place, plus a ceiling fan. Couldn't get the HVAC to our liking, freezing or heat on. 71 degrees, A/C on, skip 72, heat goes on 73. Bed too soft for us, even though we were tired from a day of driving, dinner with family, granddaughter. I had a very good shower with plenty of hot water, my wife didn't, even though the parking lot appeared less than half full. We want to give a shout out to Mya for her excellent service with a party of 11 on Saturday night. She was sweet and attentive and gave amazing service!||Also Kia and Jennifer on Sunday morning. I got down there very early and the coffee dispensers were having some issues. They were on top of it and super sweet about it!||Sharon in the Homewood suites breakfast area was kind and make sure we had what we needed. There was a rude customer that some in our party observed, but Sharon handled it well, and some of us were oblivious to what was happening. She did not deserve to be treated that way!||All the people at the front desk were super sweet and accommodating. They changed the channels on the tv when we asked and Za’Kari gave us her email and printed something out for us to use at a funera

Attended a convention here. Cannot judge the rooms as we did not stay here. However the banquet and meeting rooms were great. The staff were superb. Always friendly and very helpful to make sure we had a great experience.

I was very happy with Homewood Suites by Hilton in Summerville, SC. The property was very clean and inviting, the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean, the shower was hot and had good pressure and the ac/heat unit worked well. We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Summerville for 1 week (business trip), went home for the weekend, and then came back for another week. The first week, we stayed in a King studio that had a bad thermostat. I contacted the front desk the next morning and they sent maintenance up right away. It only took a few minutes for them to change the thermostat and then the A/C worked great. The maintenance guys were nice and polite. On the second day, we determined that we needed a second chair at the dining table so we could sit down and eat dinner together and it was brought up fairly quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we reserved a room for the next week, as well. That room is a King bedroom suite with plenty of room, cold A/C, and two dining chairs.
