The Madison Riverwalk

If you want to get away from standard hotel rooms, this is the place to be. Rooms are tidy and clean. Located in the historical region where you can take a walk in time and visit the various historical land sites, houses from the cotton picking highs. The owners were extremely attentive when I had a package being delivered. I needed a lighter for my cigars, they came with the lighter and we sat in their beautiful backyard with a bit of wine, bourbons and a good smoke. The buildings were erected for the military brass in 1912. Nice historical place to enjoy. You're 20 min away from bars and restaurants They are excellent. Kevin, the owner, was very kind and polite when he met us. He gave all kinds of useful information about San Antonio and its surroundings. Since there was no booking after us, he let us stay two more our before check out. The room was clean, smelled nice, and all the facilities were great. I totally recommend staying there again if I'm in the area.

Beautiful apartments with historical significance close to the river walk. Since it is in a residential area, there are fewer people around. The only negative is there is not a lot of close parking, so sometimes you have to park down the street.

Stayed for a couple of days for vacation with family, excellent rooms, very clean. Great location, very walkable to River Walk, Alamo. Quiet street but lots of restaurants close by.
