Customer Reviews
Location is fantastic—heart of Red Hook on Seabring St, walkable to waterfront, Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, water taxi/ferry, great local spots (Van Brunt eats, IKEA nearby). Eclectic, artsy vibe with stunning views—perfect Brooklyn escape, though subway to Manhattan takes ~30-40 min. Rooms were clean, modern, comfy beds, good size for NYC area, with nice touches like flat-screen and quiet AC. Felt fresh and well-kept. Service was outstanding—super friendly staff, welcoming check-in, helpful tips on the neighborhood, and breakfast crew kept things great. Free hot breakfast buffet was solid (good variety, fresh coffee). Awesome boutique value in a cool area—would definitely stay again! 4 stars.
Positive: Good location to the port and Dumbo Negative: Slow elevator and breakfast room was small
The location is comfortable, 4 minutes away from B61 bus that takes you to downtown Brooklyn, or 15 minutes away from the subway. The staff are friendly and helpful, the double bed was really comfy after all.
When I got there to use the self service check in I still had to deal with staff. Which is pointless. But staff was polite place was clean and welcoming. I got to my room it’s in the basement level which was very weird. Looking at the window seeing feet or tires. My room was located directly across from the canteen so it was loud. The walls were thin or maybe the door had gaps because I could hear everything outside my door. Like my neighbor with a crying toddler. That was annoying as hell. I went to turn the tv on but the remote was broke. So I left, when I returned the crying had stopped and staff had to get me a new remote. Again staff was polite and helpful. I went to breakfast and it was many options. I wasn’t mad at it. The canteen is nice as well. I took my breakfast with me to my r
We spent 3 nights at The Lodge before we flew home. We had spent 5 nights in Manhattan for the NYC marathon which was great but crazy expensive. Red Hook was great location with a ferry to Manhattan only 10 min walk away. Room was small but big enough for my wheelchair and the bathroom also ok. Room was clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. Would recommend without hesitation.
