Arlington Place

A big big thank you to Ambyr and Liz for making us feel so welcome at Arlington Place and helping to make our first trip to New York so memorable. This is a beautifully restored brown stone building with an elegance and energy all of its own - super artwork adorns the walls - and great to have access to a piano I could play. Room 2 was super, spacious, comfy, great for our daughter to also stay over for a few days. Airconditioner worked well, blackout shutters at lovely stained glass windows ensured a good night sleep, breakfast was delicious and uniquely prepared and nice to sit out in the patio area. Ambyr made gluten free muffins and pancakes and especially catered for individual needs and tastes. Yes the staircase creaked but this is a restored wood building and other guests were caref

A Beautiful Brownstone located in Bedstuy that serves as a Bed and Breakfast. Amazing decor detailed with amazing Art that graces the wallls and each room has it's own theme and clever color scheme. The breakfast served is delicious and it's not just your typical eggs and bacon!

I celebrated my 40th birthday at the Arlington Place B&B. The townhouse is absolutely gorgeous. Every room is impeccably designed - classical design with adorable whimsical touches & each room with its own character. Our crowd spent most of the time in the basement, which looks a little dodgey as you are going down the stairs, then opens up to a cool, "speakeasy" with a fantastic full bar. We had about 60 guests, which was enough to not feel lonely, but there was plenty of room for more, if I had more friends.||||Liz and Amber could not have been more accommodating & even helped make sure that our catering went off without a hitch after we realized that our plan for food required more work than expected (getting hors d'oeuvres in and out of the oven and out to the serving stations).|||

We live in the neighborhood and discovered this gem of a B&B via the local news. Deciding to stay here with our siblings for our wedding weekend was one of the best decisions we made! Ambyr is an extraordinary host, made us feel like we were at home and went to great lengths to make the weekend extra-special for us. She was so accommodating of our schedule and made the many people in and out of the house feel welcome all weekend long. Also, we had a lot of people in and out while getting ready, and we Brooklynites (and non-Brooklynites too) couldn't stop talking about how BEAUTIFUL and special this space is. Truly incredible. We'll definitely consider it for future staycations, and at the very least, putting up our families when they come to visit!

Amber is a beautiful soul. Very friendly. We really liked her breakfast every morning. (made to order) She put out a evening snack. Very cool.||||We enjoyed talking to Amber and the other guest at breakfast. ||||Love the old creaking stairs in the house. It's a part of it's charm. Beautiful artwork through out the house. ||||Walked to Mass at Our Lady of Victory church. Felt safe||||We learned that the movie , Crooklyn by Spike Lee was filmed here.||||If you need anything for your room, just ask Amber. She was helpful. And we felt welcomed. ||||We would stay again.
