Sleep Days

Me and my mum stayed here for 7 nights for shopping and sight seeing in NYC. We were looking for somewhere that was good value with easy access to the city. This apartment met all our requirements. This apartment was cheaper than a hostel in the centre. We had our own bathroom, a kitchen and TV. On arrival there is a phone to ring management to gain access to your room. Although there is no reception we were able to use the phone to ring if there were any problems. on our second day i had horrendous toothache and had tried all the painkillers i could and tried to contact a dentist without any luck. We used the phone to ring the management to see if they had a phone number for a dentist. They were very helpful even offering to give us a lift somewhere to try and get it sorted. ||The station

The good||||Beds comfy enough ||Had sitting area other than bedroom. ||Hot water good. ||||The not so good.||||Even though it had microwave and toaster no power point in kitchen. Only PowerPoint in sitting area didn't work. Ended up putting toaster on toilet seat to use bathroom plug.||||Main window taped on with electrical tape. Freezing wid coming through. When I attempted to stop breeze coming in whole window came off. Luckily there were bars outside window but whole room was freezing as now window completely off. Owner regaled window on next day.||||Toilet overflowed after normal use. Owner and cleaner came and very very grumpy stating it was our fault because we were not meant to flush toilet paper down. We decided to stay here because it was close to family. We must have stayed in the same room as the June 21st review.||The bed folded like a taco. The room was dirty including the bathroom. The worst thing is “No Hot Water in the Shower!!! I let the water run for 20 minutes and tried to endure the luke warm to freezing cold water, but finally gave up and left.||When I called and asked for a refund the person was a fast talker and insisted no other guests were complaining about the water and I return to the hotel to talk to his guy (Which was him BTW). When I got there he was already running the shower and sink. The sink was hot, but I wasn’t trying to take a shower in the sink. On internet they describe a one bedroom and kitchen With everything You need. I booked it and a couple days before our arrival got an email With information and when I had a question I send an email and got answer after a couple hours. So the email worked as a communication. In reality when we arrived we come to a corridor which smells very bad. A little room With oven and refrigrator. Another room With two bed. The tablelamp was broken. You had access to only plastic knife, fork, spoon and plates. We found cocaroaches both Alive and dead between plastic plated. The refrigrator didn't work. It was just a decoration and sounds a lot.
