Awesome place, service qas outstanding. I LOVED the sound machine in the room. The jetted tub and fireplace were perfect for our snowy weekend get away. The special dinner was delicious! I was getting full by the 4th course and we had 4 more to go. The chef is amazing!!!
We went for a weekend getaway. We were greeted by a beautifully decorated lodge, a roaring fire in the great room and fresh baked cookies! Our room was fresh and clean with everything we could possibly need. Breakfast with a view was outstanding! We enjoyed relaxing throughout the weekend in the cozy spots at the inn with delicious cocktails. The attention to detail along with meeting the needs of each guest cannot go unnoticed. If you want a winter refresh, the Lodge at Moosehead Lake should be top of your list.
😊: view from terrace particularly in the evening. 😢: the restaurant is closed except for breakfast. there are no facilities to warm up your own food so obliged to go into town in the evening. we were there 3 nights - no mention of a "guests only restaurant night". The positive side is that the terrace in the evening is very quiet to sit out and take in the sunset over the lake. no staff around except at breakfast and if someone is checking in.
This was as perfect a stay as I've ever had at any hotel, inn, or B & B. The room was pristine and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast was superb and every contact I had with any employee was top notch. The view from the room was gorgeous, with the autumn leaves in all shades of orange, yellow and red. We also booked a moose safari and our guide, Wyatt, was fantastic. We ended up seeing 5 moose, one of which he took us out in a canoe across a pond to see. The ONLY glitch was that the wi-fi didn't work in the room.
My great-grandfather, grandfather, and father all lived in Greenville in the late 1800's-early 1900's. They worked the railroads. I wish they would have had the opportunity to stay at this lodge. Beautiful grounds, huge room with deck overlooking the grounds and the lake. The room showed an attention to detail that I've not seen before and we have travelled. Bathroom was large and new and stocked with high end products. Staff were outstanding. The general manager greeted us, showed us around, and made sure we we felt at home. Breakfast was included and it didn't disappoint. Would encourage the inclusion of Paso Robles wines on their wine list (they are Nor Cal centric). Other than that, wouldn't change a thing. While in town, be sure to drop by the historic railroad depot. It's a great pie
