The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs

I hate to give this place 5 stars because I don't know if I want to share! Day soaking or overnight, you really can't go wrong. It's a historical building with its own charm. The rooms are very spacious and clean with comfortable beds and quality furniture. Each room is unique in its remodel and setup. We use it as an overnight getaway a few times a year. The hot spring pools are constantly improving in all the best ways. Heated pavement means you never get cold on the way to the pools. The pub staff are prompt and friendly. The menu is also constantly growing and improving. The theater is great. The seats are comfortable and the movies are fun and affordable. Overall a great experience. But don't tell too many people because it's already getting harder to find those last minute

This bed and breakfast has not only an amazing history but such an amazing family who restored it to its glory. If you want to take a step back in time to a bed and breakfast that was a past sanitarium among other things then this is the ticket! Rumor has it that this hotel is haunted but our experience was filled with warm and comfortable memories. No sightings or scary moments. The hot springs were an amazing soak in the lake lined tubs and the homemade coffee cake in the morning made by the owner was delicious. The museum inside has the most extensive collection of era artifacts for war, Indians and more. The grounds are expansive with wandering Peacocks who deter coyotes and cougars from entering the property. Beautiful!!! This is not a swanky bed and breakfast but it’s an A+ experienc

I wish we had known a little more before coming so we could plan better: they allow Day Soakers until 8PM so it's quite busy in the pools until then (but Guests get 24-hour access), they show a movie from 7-9PM some nights, Guests can stay for up to 2 hours after dropping their key at noon to check out, they have showers and changing rooms on site, there's a communal refrigerator and microwave in the veranda, etc. The staff were all absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful and informative. Be aware that it's an old building and there's a train nearby, so there should not be an expectation of quiet at any time (they do offer ear plugs at the front counter!). The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs is my favorite hot spring escape in Oregon. It's historical presence and history are a fascinating part of Oregon's history, and provide a unique and peaceful place to soak, eat, drink, and relax. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the service has always been top notch. I highly recommend a visit!

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and had a great relaxing time. We've been to several hotsprings, and this one is a must. They have 9 hot, clean, comfortable pools to relax in. The lake and mountain views from the soaking tubs in nice. The rooms have an old school feel with new modern furniture. Can't wait to go back
