My wife and I recently stayed at the Lafayette by Kasa in New Orleans from March 5th through March 8th, and the experience was tremendous from start to finish. It was a pleasure staying at the Lafayette. From the very beginning after making my reservation communication was amazing! The text feature is something I wish all properties used. I especially want to highlight Jen at the front desk. Jen was absolutely incredible and seemed to always be there whenever we needed anything. She was in constant communication with me about several packages I had delivered to the property and kept me updated every step of the way. That level of attention and care really stood out. Jen also made fantastic recommendations for food and great places to order from in the evenings, which made our stay even

This location was PERFECT. Walking distance to Bourbon Street, Canal Street, Sazerac House, and most attractions. It was walkable to Jackson Square, but we chose to get ubers which were about $10 from Kasa. This hotel is in an incredibly safe area and directly next to the court house and Mardi Gras parade route. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The front desk was always accessible, they held my luggage for a later flight time and overall very accommodating. I had such a wonderful experience I extended my stay. I will happily stay here again and recommend this to any person visiting New Orleans. The rooms were spacious and clean. They offered complimentary water and cookies upon arrival. Bathrooms were also spacious, clean, and modern.

Our stay at The Lafayette in New Orleans was fantastic, largely because of how accommodating and responsive the staff were. We had complicated flight schedules, arrived earlier than expected, and had a few timing-related requests throughout the stay, and every single one was handled smoothly and kindly.||The team went out of their way to help us with early arrival options, communication around our room readiness, and general support during our stay. Any time we reached out, responses were quick, clear, and genuinely helpful. It never felt transactional, it felt like the staff actually cared about making our trip easy and comfortable.||Travel days can be stressful, but staff made everything feel seamless. If you value flexibility, communication, and attentive service, this is absolutely a p

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, welcoming, and well organized. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet enough to feel restful. We especially appreciated the little details that made our stay feel special. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a stress-free stay.

I'll be fair. Our 4-nights stay at the Lafayette started on a good note. Room is big and clean, check-in process is smooth, and the texting service with the hotel is convenient. 5 stars. First sign of problem happened on day 3 when the cleaning staff entered our room against our explicit request of no cleaning, which the hotel staff agreed to. Down to 4 stars now. On this day (2/22/2026) the weather became unseasonably cool, and there was no heat available in the room. The temperature in the room dipped down to 64 F and it got too cold to sleep comfortably. Now only 3 stars. On the next day (2/23/2026) the city of New Orleans issued a boil water advisory early in the morning. My friends who were staying in different hotels in the same CBD neighborhood all got notified by their hotel sta
