The L Motel

I was surprised that others had ranked The L Motel as high as they did because a 7.4 (Booking.com rating) is undeserved. When I arrived there was nobody in attendance reception as they had actually left the property. Meanwhile and older lady was waiting outside in the cold because she had forgotten her key in the room needed a replacement. 20 minutes later the reception showed up. Check in with simple and quick I would say, being that Flagstaff has a possibility of snow through the winter, adding a mat inside the door would be a nice touch and to be able to leave your wet shoes on it rather than tracking it all through your room. The TV remote did not work anywhere in the room unless you stood right in front of the television. Has shown by the video the shower curtain was yellowed and brok

They are so nice here, I feel safe, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at in the price range, and it’s clean. I find it easy to sleep here and I love being close to everything. I’ve been very happy in room 103 and greatful to be here

Everything in the hotel was very good, clean and the people who were in the hotel were also very friendly, but their breakfast was not that good. Even then, I would say that I would give the breakfast a five out of ten because the breakfast does not have so many items, but I liked it. The location of the hotel is not in such a good place, but the airport is very close from here.

I called your hotel to inquire about doing business and spoke with one of your front desk staff, VIC. I called twice. During the first call, I politely asked to speak with a manager or whoever was in charge, but he abruptly hung up the phone. At first, I thought it might have been a technical issue, so I called back. Unfortunately, the same person answered. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it for several minutes before finally saying his name was VIC. His attitude throughout the call was extremely unprofessional. Front desk staff represent the hotel, and this type of behavior creates a very poor first impression. I strongly suggest placing someone more professional at the front desk, as this interaction reflected badly on your establishment.
