The Knotty Buck Retreat (Knotty Retreats)

So I don't usually post bad reviews but this one left me extremely disappointed. I think the people who agree with the "privacy" part of this cabin live in apartments or HOA neighborhoods that basically have no yard. But this is NOT private. If I can see other cabins then they can see me. We even left a day EARLY because this is the most unrelaxed I have felt on a vacation. It felt like eyes were on me the entire stay. The porch and outdoor area is most definitely not secluded like the pictures on the listing. The trees are basically gone and neighbor cabins (as you can see) are quite close and visible. The inside was OK. But the entire reason we came on this trip was for seclusion and quiet. We were so happy to get home! Please make sure you know what you are booking. Nothing against the

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt cozy, peaceful, and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the mountain views were even better than we expected. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings outside by the fire pit were easily our favorite parts of the stay. The location was perfect. It felt tucked away and quiet, but we were still just a short drive from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and all the Smokies have to offer. Everything we needed was provided, and it was clear the owners put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. This cabin truly felt like a home away from home. The Knotty Buck Retreat completely exceeded our expectations, especially the outdoor amenities. The sauna, hot tub, and outdoor soaking tub were absolute highlights of our stay. Sitting in the heat with the cool mountain air around us was pure bliss, and it felt incredibly relaxing at any time of day. Even though there are other cabins in the distance, it always felt private and secluded. The layout and positioning make it easy to forget anyone else is around, so you can truly unwind without feeling exposed. We spent hours outside—moving between the sauna, the hot tub, and the soaking tub—watching the scenery and just disconnecting. It felt like our own hidden retreat. This cabin is seriously incredible. The views of Mt. LeConte are so HUGE it feels like you could reach out and touch the peak! Every amenity and detail was thoughtfully executed at this cabin, from the funky style, the details that really make it stand out (ring for champagne bell- used this on my husband haha), the romantic and private glass wall sauna, even the privacy screen for the hot tub. We loved hanging in the outdoor areas and enjoying the views with a beverage. Pro tip: DONT MISS THE SUNRISE. We can't wait to visit again.

First time in a long time that the Air Bnb I booked was actually what it described! House was beautiful, the view is wonderful. The house was clean & kept up. I’ve stayed at some before that supplied absolutely nothing, you can find some few basics in the kitchen for cooking which was helpful. Hosts were responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
