Glimpse of Heaven Cabin

This was one of the nicest cabins we've rented anywhere. I don't know how old it is, but it feels like new. Immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished, with all the amenities we could need. The view truly is stunning, and you enjoy it from three porches on three different levels: a hammock on the top floor, wooden rockers and a porch swing on the middle floor -- or the hot tub on the lower porch! I guess my only negative was that the hot tub is situated so that you can't get behind where the cover is. The cover is really heavy and was hard to lift off and on from just one back corner area. This cabin was absolutely wonderful! The view is more amazing than I imagined it would be, the pictures definitely don't lie 😍 To see the fog on the mountains every morning was absolutely stunning. We will definitely return here again! I cannot recommend this cabin enough.

We had an awesome Spring Break. It's sad to be back in the Michigan snow! The views at this cabin are outstanding. The cabin is perfectly aimed to view a picture perfect sunset over the mountains every evening. Everything was great. The owners are wonderful people to work with. Book your stay, relax, and enjoy!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained cabin with outstanding views of the mountains. The reason I deducted a star is because it was advertised as pet friendly. I specifically asked before we rented if there was suitable place for my dog to go potty, because I didn't see any in the pictures. Shirley told me IF the grass was too tall, I could always take the dog down the street to the park. There were 2 small areas of grass outside the cabin, but over 2 ft tall and we did not realize before arriving that the park was NOT within walking distance. So we drove to Sevierville [30 minute drive each way] to buy a weed wacker and cut the grass ourselves since the owners were not local. This was the ultimate vacation home in the Smokey Mountains. The views are absolutely spectacular. We first couldn’t take our eyes off the views from the back porch, but once inside we felt as if we were still outside. Everything about the home is centered around the views and the surrounding pristine nature, and there is access to enjoying them from anywhere you are in the house. My daughter fell asleep while looking at the moon from the bed, through the skylight right above. The hosts even put a hammock on the upper porch. All details were accounted for to make this place a true piece of paradise.
