The Kimpton Brice Hotel

I recently stayed at the Kimpton Brice and unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. The check-in process set the tone. The manager allowed another guest to skip the line, assured me “I’ll be with you, I promise,” and then I waited approximately 35 minutes. I was eventually handed off to a colleague with no acknowledgment of the delay, no apology, and no orientation to the property or its amenities after waiting over an hour. There was no overview of restaurant hours, amenities, layout, or anything that would normally make a guest feel welcomed. The room itself also fell short. The towels were visibly stained, which is unacceptable at this level of hotel. We stayed at the Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah for a few days in August and had the best time. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, we truly felt like we were home. This clean and pet-friendly boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. From check-in to the outdoor bar, our room, and the daily happy hour, every part of our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and attentive. Marishka went above and beyond. She was informative, friendly, and whatever we needed was delivered with a smile. Kaylin greeted us our first night and made sure we were served promptly since we had another reservation to catch. Positive: Location, Location, Location Negative: Hotel or Kennel? I have heard of a pet friendly hotels, but not one that does not have conditions and allowed dogs everywhere. I am allergic to dogs. I asked for a floor without dogs. They had none. Dogs had defecated in elevator. Allowed in restaurant

Had a great experience at the Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah! Perfect location! Great Value and a quality stay. Beds and rooms are very comfortable. We also brought our dog, and the hotel is very pet friendly. They also do not charge a pet fee, which is a huge plus. The restaurant and bar is amazing, do not forget to try the pizza (they make pizza dough fresh every day). The staff also provided exceptional service. I highly recommend and I will be back when I visit Savannah

This hotel has a decent location in Savannah, as we were about a 10 minute walk to the activities and restaurants we wanted to do. The hotel is a bit more rundown than we anticipated and we did have some “unexplained activity” (lights turning on and off and the radio turning on and off on its own) in our hotel room which was fun after taking a ghost tour. The reason for the 3 stars is really the customer service. Our party consisted of four women and we booked a suite with a Friday check in. We checked in and were put in a double room, when we called down and let them know there was an error we were told that it wasn’t available, which was unfortunate but said we could move to the suite the next day.
