I recommend this four-star hotel located in downtown Chicago. The hotel has a modern and unique style, and the overall stay was very pleasant. The lobby feels warm and welcoming, and complimentary hot chocolate is provided, which is a nice touch. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator wall design is also quite unique. As soon as you enter the room, it feels clean, comfortable, and modern. The room is well equipped and cozy. The bathroom features a multifunctional shower with strong water pressure, which was very satisfying. Overall, it was a great stay. The only downside is parking, which can be a bit inconvenient. You have to use paid street parking or nearby parking garages, and the cost is relatively high.

Positive: "" Negative: 1.The room should have more lighting especially the bathroom(only has one light option)2. I didn't like my room right off of the elevator(rm 403) Wasn't happy about that.

Disappointing Stay at Ivy Hotel Chicago I booked a Suite at the Ivy Hotel Chicago for my friend’s birthday and requested special service prior to landing. I was informed that a bottle of prosecco would be $45 and room décor would be $35. What was provided was underwhelming and poorly thought out. They placed artificial rose petals scattered on the bed in a way that looked more romantic than celebratory. A simple “Happy Birthday” written with the petals would have been more appropriate. The décor also included only two artificial candles and a personal bottle of prosecco—definitely not worth the cost. The Suite itself was clean to a basic standard, but there was a noticeable amount of dust on the furniture, which is unacceptable for a Suite-level room. Another major issue was the hot wate

We stayed for 3 nights before New Year's and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing visit which was just what we wanted. The front desk check in and service was exceptional, Carlos was friendly and helpful with our many questions. At checkout, Myra helped with our taxi with complete ease.|Our suite was spacious with a large living room, the soak tub awesome, with a separate shower a definite plus. Housekeeping brought what we requested each day with a friendly smile. |The location was excellent, just a short walk off Michigan Avenue (i.e. so quieter) and several restaurant and food locations all around the hotel. We walked easily to the loop area and Navy Pier. We will definitely return on our next visit to Chicago.

Leaving a 1 star review for the bait and switch strategy this hotel utilizes about what it offers. We selected this hotel over others for the large soaking tub built into some rooms. We picked the Elevated Queen suite which the website showed had; Bathtub Separate shower Plush bathrobe and slippers Nightly cocktail and dessert High thread count Egyptian sheets Out of these the room only had the shower and missing all other detailed amenities. We brought it up to the front desk who claimed these rooms never had a tub, that they don’t have the nightly dessert and cocktail because they no longer have a kitchen and can’t get us robes because he doesn’t have access to the housekeeping area. He gave us the managers card. We presented our issues to the manager who was prompt to offer a reduction
