The Inn at Stone Mountain Park

Would give a negative star review if I could. Booked a week long stay at Stone Mountain at least a month in advance. Checked in and was woken up on the first morning by a phone call from the front desk at 6am to inform me there was an issue with my stay. I was told my booking was canceled because the entire hotel had been “bought out” and had to check out immediately. The manager was incredibly rude. If the hotel had been “bought out” why did they even let me check-in in the first place? Strong contender for worst customer service experience ever. To top it all off the group that “bought-out” the hotel was aggressively taunting people who had been kicked out as we drove away.

I highly recommend the Stone Mountain Inn for a quiet and peaceful getaway and for all of the attractions and amenities it is near. It is a good value and the rooms are clean, cool and spacious with beds that are so comfortable, it is like sleeping on a cloud. The room had a refrigerator and we loved the shower, it had great water pressure and a shower massage so it was refreshing. The pool was clean and they had complimentary towels at the pool. The pool also had a deep end, which we also enjoyed. Please check your bill when you leave, as we had a charge from the pub that was not ours. Overall it was a nice experience and a great weekend getaway.

DO NOT STAY!! Hotel staff is lacking in basic customer service. There are no phones and no way to call the front desk who doesn't fix anything anyway. The ONLY good thing is that the rooms are large. Much bigger than a normal hotel room. No food anywhere near 10 minute drive minimum. Hotel rooms have spiders in cabinets. Wall paper is peeling away. Barely working frig and air. We had no soap. Hair dryer burned up in 3 seconds. Electrical plates are not attached. (Safety hazard) place is dirty and lacks basic maintaining. We had a terrible experience getting here because we checked in on July 4th. Roads were blocked. My husband is a disabled veteran and we asked for an ADA room. None given and they could not even provide a shower chair.

The Inn at Stone Mountain has seen better days. It is run down and it doesn't seem like anyone cares. Pool area was sad with broken pool furniture & umbrellas. Pool looked dirty. Rooms are extremely dated. We only ended up at the Inn because the Evergreen Resort cancelled our reservations 2 weeks prior to our stay because a larger group rented out the entire resort. I'm honestly not even sure the Inn was supposed to be open to guests. The only plus was the proximity to the Yellow Daisy Festival which is why we were there.

This was like Motel Hell. This could be a really nice place, but it appears there has been no up keep for years. This would be all zero except for the proximity to the Yellow Daisy Festival. The stairs were falling in, the refrigerator frozen, air didn’t work in one room, sketchy carpet. I felt very unsafe.
