Comfort Inn & Suites at Stone Mountain

The customer service at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. Syda is incredibly kind, helpful, and humble. Preparing sahoor for me during fasting and bringing it to my room was a very thoughtful gesture I have never seen in other hotels. Even with a few small room issues, her kindness made my stay wonderful. Thank you, Syda. I wish you all the best. I also thank the gentleman working the day shift for his kindness and respectful treatment. And also the room service was very kind and respectful. To the manager: thank you for hiring such great employees. They truly add value to your hotel and deserve appreciation and support.

The man at the desk was very nice, and the place was fairly clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Thats the good. The bad... a dirty bed skirt, no smoke detector, broken hair dryer, slow draining sink, very slow draining toilet I thought would overflow but eventually drained, dingy carpet, and a strong cleaning solution smell in the bathroom. Had to run the fan a long time and close the bathroom door just to make it bearable. And lastly, the pool was out of service, and appeared it had been so for some time. The check out lady was very nice too, but this place needs serious maintenance and a fire inspection.

Arrived at hotel ready to check in at 9 pm after hours on the road. Reservation has been made weeks ago. Upon check in at the desk, the clerk said she had been trying to call me. I said I received no calls and why. She said they had no room for me. I asked why and was told there were a lot of extended stay guests. I asked if there were any other rooms available for us and was told no. Also no apologies or any suggestions for other hotels. Very poor way to operate a business! I also am a Choice Privileges member so I could’ve been contacted this way and been notified by text, email and phone. Not good. Definitely contacting Choice Privileges membership to inform them!

We checked into this hotel after driving for 14 hours. We were exhausted and ready to rest. When we went to check in, we were informed that the elevator wasn't working and that the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor. We were given the option of canceling the reservation at that time. But since we were exhausted, we decided to stay. I mentioned to them at the time that it would be difficult being on the 3rd floor with no elevator because my husband has a bad knee, and we have a dog that would have to be let out during the night. Nothing was said about a pet fee. (I had looked online also before I booked the room and couldn't find an amount for a pet fee. It said there may be a pet charge.) I just figured she was giving us a break since we had to stay on the 3rd floor without a work

The hotel is not clean. The staff is not friendly. After driving 19hr from Canada i was taken a back by the sign saying "park at your own risk". The surface of the room looks clean. But the closest door was broken, has an old musty smell, the bathroom ceiling paint was stripping and the bath tub was dirty. I found a syringe, soiled linen and an excato knife under the mattress. Candy and candy wrappers under the pull out sofa mattress. The hotel itself is outdated the carpet needs a shampoo treatment. When I brought the knife and syringe to the front desk the staff said sorry, and what is she to do with it. I answered her I don't know but I don't want it in my room. She didn't offer me any room change option or discount. And I was too tired to argue. After my 2nd night while getting ready
