The Hotel Salem

Positive: The location Negative: The heat wasn’t turned on. My room was freezing. Thankfully staff brought me a space heater. Also, I was disappointed in the shower. Barely warm water, with very poor pressure along with the shower head seemingly to be on the wrong end in the shower.

I had the pleasure of visiting The Hotel Salem for a family getaway, and I would return in a heartbeat. My family had already made a reservation that needed to be modified, and the AGM Zachary was very friendly, responsive and helpful over email leading up to the stay. When we arrived, Zay at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, professional, and assisted us with a well-recommended room upgrade. From arrival to departure, there was always an attentive staff member in sight, and every single staff member acknowledged every guest that walked by. Whoever is responsible for hiring and training the staff in the hotel has done an excellent job, and deserves recognition. Our suite was well appointed, meticulously clean, and had wonderful, large windows that provided excellent natural light. T

I recently had a staycation weekend at The Salem Hotel and it was top notch all around from the staff, service, food and accommodations. Truly felt like home away from home and the room was so cute, clean and quiet. They have convenient water stations on the floors for rooms too and you can bring anything you are eating or drinking to your room (or get room delivery) which was so convenient! They have a nice lounge area too decorated very cool and colorful! The staff thought of everything to accommodate any requests and were so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone and the location is in the heart of of Salem close to all the shops, eateries and entertainment. The food was terrific too - I had breakfast lunch and dinner there and enjoyed it all! I har stayed a few place

The hotel Salem is a great place to stay! The hotel itself is so nicely decorated, and have a restaurant/bar right at the entrance of the hotel is awesome. They have a roof restaurant apparently, but since we were visiting In February, it was not open. Cody has been awesome. From the moment. I booked the room until arrival he had been in contact with me making sure all of our arrangements were in perfect order. I had a medical accommodation that I had forgotten to mention and Cody and the hotel staff made sure not only was that accommodated, but they were able to upgrade me to a king room with a Small deck off of the room. The bathroom, walk-in shower was luxurious, the staff was wonderful with accommodating the need for more towels, I called for ice and it was at the door in a few minutes

We arrived and, before we’d even had a chance to look around, check in was already finished quick, painless, and handled by staff who were genuinely warm while staying thoroughly professional. The room was spotless and quiet, with that rare sense of everything’s taken care of where nothing gets in your way. Breakfast was 100% worth it fresh, filling, and a great start to the day and the hotel’s on a peaceful street, so we slept straight through with zero outside noise. For the price, the comfort and service feel like a standout deal, and I’d book here again without hesitation.
