The Hotel Northampton

I’ve photographed one wedding at Hotel Northampton, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel has a classic, elegant feel while still feeling warm and welcoming, right in the heart of downtown Northampton. The spaces are beautifully maintained, the staff was attentive and organized, and the day flowed smoothly from start to finish. It’s a great option for couples looking for a timeless setting with character and an easy, in-town experience.

Just had a wonderful stay at the Northampton. This historic hotel is both grand and cozy, an unbeatable combination. The service was tremendous, (thank you Vanessa and Caleb) my room had a pleasant view, and the meals were delectable. Highly recommend!

Positive: The location, decor, and staff all excellent. Negative: The room was outdated, it was difficult to access electric outlets, and the bathroom fan needed replacing.

I have long wanted to stay at the Hotel Northampton, and finally got the chance. It's got two nice restaurants, the Coolidge Cafe and Wiggins Tavern. Both a worth a try. The public spaces are lovely, respectful of the hotel's history, and comfortable if you are waiting for your companion, or just wasting time. My room, on the other hand, was just so-so. Very clean and the bed was comfortable as was the room's temperature, so no complaints there. But the in-room decor is boring to the point of "blah." The bathroom has quite possibly the smallest, lowest toilet seat I have ever seen. If you have bad knees, maybe ask if there are handicap rooms available, because you will have a problem with the toilet. Other oddities: the hairdryer is in the TV cabinet; all night long there was a knocking so

We recently hosted a work conference at The Hotel Northampton and it was amazing!! The attendees enjoyed the hotel, the food and the service. I want to thank the staff and everyone who assisted with the conference. The staff service was the top notch. The care that they all put into serving this conference was heartwarming. All the attendees were in awe of the history of the hotel and the ambiance. I hope to return to the Hotel for a personal stay. Thank you for a great experience.
