Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Springfield Northampton/Amherst

We met Nathaniel from the front desk during our arrival and he was so warm and helpful. It makes our tiring trip relieved and it was worth staying here. No matter what condition of his shift , he was always on the reaching out mode. Very nice!We also met Liza from the dining. We see her at breakfast time and she is like the mascot of Fairfield Inn. She goes entertaining guests table to table and welcomes us each day with that cheerful GOOD MORNING greeting. Tireless woman. It reflects that she loves her job . What a PLUS for FAIRFIELD! Nice choice of workers.

Fiona and Nathaniel, along with the entire hotel team at Fairfield Inn Northampton, made our stay exceptionally comfortable, warm, and welcoming. The property is in top shape, very clean, with fresh breakfast offerings and well-m appointed, nicely maintained rooms. Everyone was genuinely kind and attentive, making this a great place to stay and an easy recommendation.

Currently a guest. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is below average. Mattress is uncomfortable, pillows are flat and the comforter is as thin as a sheet of paper. I wasn’t expecting luxury but at least a working TV….technical issues and Netflix doesn’t work (it has been more that 24 hours and the issue is not resolved). Not many amenities in the room but average. Would not recommend

Positive: Newly renovated, decent breakfast, convenient, no scented cleaning products. Nice size rooms too Negative: The air conditioning units need to be cleaned regularly since there was a moldy smell coming out. Also, as a newly renovated hotel, I was disappointed to see the carpet. It’s unsanitary and not good for people with allergies.

The hotel seems to be brand new. I didn't see any flaws, except that the door to enter the room was not aligned appropriately by the contractor, so we could see the light in the hallway and fill the crack with toilet paper. I will make an essential recommendation: place a white light in the bathroom sink to be able to do makeup. The lights are too low, and it isn't perfect for doing a make. It made me think of buying a portable makeup white light source. Here we go, Amazon, more shopping. The breakfast is plentiful and has a different selection. I'll send a shout-out to Eliza. She kept on filling stations with a great positive attitude. She was pleasant and energetic. Marriott is lucky to have her. People like her make many of us go back to the exact location.
