The Hotel Belvidere

We didn't stay at the hotel , we ate at their very fine restaurant, The Ridge.

Where do I start? I took my husband for a nice birthday dinner here. The food was amazing! My husband had the best 18oz Ribeye he ever tasted and I had the filet tips and shrimp. The waitress was the best. She made our first experience here definitely memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Oh and did I forget to mention the fabulous waitstaff got the entire dining room patrons to sing Happy Birthday to him. He definitely felt so honored! What a great night for both of us!

We did a quick get away weekend with friends and booked the hotel just going by the pictures on their website. We love staying at older historic places and let me tell you, we were absolutely ecstatic when we walked into our rooms. They are gorgeous! The new owners have been refurnishing since Oct of 2018 and doing a great job. Beautiful furniture, new paint and Plenty of extra linens! The staff is as nice as can be. Erin at the front desk was very helpful in assisting us with any questions we had. The restaurant staff was exceptional. We plan on going back in the fall!!!

Stayed here for a weekend trip. The restaurant is excellent. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable and look like pictures online. Very nice family run hotel.

I did not stay at the hotel, but I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant there, The Ridge. It exudes the warmth and care - and cleanliness - of a family- owned-and-operated establishment. Every course of our meal was absolutely delicious, well-prepared and well-presented. Menu pricing is very reasonable, especially for the quality and amount of food one is served. My adult niece and I were there for her birthday, and there wasn't a thing to disappoint. Our wait-person and host, John, was excellent: welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging. His persona and unhurried demeanor added much to our enjoyment of a most relaxing evening. Reservations are recommended; seating, of course, is limited due to mandated covid restrictions, and the restaurant is presently closed on Mo
