The Historic Central Hotel

Very impressive hotel restoration. A journey back in time, with all of the modern luxuries. Very comfortable bed, awesome shower. No TV's, which was great. There are historical books in the room and lots of cool history memorabilia throughout the room, hallways, and hotel. Lots of nice personal touches throughout. This place is more than a hotel; it's an experience. We would (and will), stay here again. The Central Hotel gives us more reason to journey back to these lands.

It was actually 3 years ago and I realized that I had written a review yet. This place is one of the BEST road trip memory I've had in years. This hotel is so nice, so clean, the owners are adorable. And the boiler room is such an amazing place. You do not just sleep at the hotel, you travel thru history. |And Burns, OR is a little town in the middle of nowhere that you do not wanna miss. They have a great saloon and and a fantastic bakery (Annie's Bakery) ! This is the perfect pitstop between Bend,OR and Boise, ID.

The Central Hotel in Burns, Oregon is hands down one of the coolest places I’ve stayed. The Prohibition themed atmosphere is on another level. From the décor to the overall vibe, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different era in the best way possible. I love this place so much I’m already thinking about planning a weekend getaway here with a bunch of friends or even hosting a family reunion. It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience. Honestly, it makes me want to come back to Burns just to stay here again. Absolutely awesome stay. Highly recommend and you can’t beat the price! Forrest Keady and family outdid their selves on this renovation.

This is our second stay here. This place is an absolute gem; a great part of me wants to keep it a secret. This is a beautifully restored old girl. The attention to detail and care given to the restoration exploits the incredible character of this hotel. The building and grounds are full of wonderful secrets. You will NOT be disappointed with your visit.

The Historic Central Hotel is a GEM. Restored by a family with hometown roots, no detail in the space was missed. It's one of a kind and exudes the family's love for the town's history and pride in workmanship. The rooms are large, pristine and beautiful and the common areas are huge with incredible period ambiance. We will be back every time we are in town. Highly recommend.
