Silver Spur Motel Burns Hwy 20

They’ve done a great job at renovating this place. Room was super clean, bed & pillows were soft, the blankets felt almost new. Nice having a park a block away for the dogs to play. Good places to eat, neat artwork on that side of town, and very easy to get in & out of town from there. Front desk lady was very nice and friendly. She made the stay feel like I was coming home for the holidays. Peaceful and quiet for a few days. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for vacation.

Excellent check in. Friendly, informative, pleasant. Room was clean, towels were nice. Pillow fluffy and beds comfy. Shower was hot, but no place to set shampoo and soap. Might consider a few more lights in room. We had a great meal suggested by check in clerk.

First off, I knew this was a cheap hotel when I booked and I wasn't expecting a lot but I was supposed to stay 8 days. I got there and you have to call to get into the front office. The lady was sitting in the parking lot in her car with her dog. They overbooked (the front desk lady told me so) and gave me a room with a shower that was constantly running. I thought someone was in there at first and felt unsafe. I tried to turn the water off and then went to the front desk to get help. They said they knew about it and the maintainenece man had to tear into the wall so they left it running. They gave me a replacement room with a moldy shower and the front door didn't have a deadbolt and the regular knob didn't lock. One of the nicer places I have stayed in for quite a while! The room was really nice and made good use of the spacing to properly accommodate 3 beds without feeling cramped in the slightest. The beds were super comfortable, and the location was so pretty! We were arriving late from out of state and management was happy to work with us for what we needed. Even our dog was happy and excited to be there! There are fairly strict rules to be followed that they have posted in the rooms, which makes it feel that much safer for everyone involved due to the enforcement of them. Overall an amazing stay, even if just for one night, and when in Burns I will definitely be going again!

Driving through on a 20 hour road trip, needed somewhere to sleep for an couple hours with kids and a dog. found this place around 1AM, called and the manager answered and immediately booked us a room even tho their office was closed. She was really helpful and very nice even when I had to reach out again later with a question. Also had the heat on in the room when we got there so that was really nice to be warm! One of the only places that allowed dogs in the area and will be the place we stay on from now on whenever we travel through here!
