City Center Motel

I had to laugh out load when I read the other reviews. To be fair, it's been several years since I went there to get a room - but after going and looking at one (and smelling it) I said no thank you and left. And I'm not THAT picky. I traveled in Mexico a lot to give you an idea. So, unless they have done some major remodeling of some sort. The people where nice enough. Don't know if they are around anymore but anyway. Just make sure you look at the rooms first. And if they have done some remodeling maybe this opinion doesn't count.

Staying in "The Bates Motel" was an interesting stay. Would have been really good for Halloween, but since I stayed in January it was awkward. Special effects include peeling walls, used band aid on shower wall, shower nozzle that only comes up to my shoulder " I'm only 5'7" ", flickering bathroom lighting, tube TV with tape on remote to keep the batteries in, blood on the sheets, cracking walls, creepy 60s green carpet complete with cigarette burns, broken space heater, trash from previous guest, and that great feeling that you might get chopped up in the middle of the night..

Rooms are clean and in good repair fresh paint carpet older rooms are styled in the 50s great for those on a budget. I am marking it on my GPS as a great place to stay.

The city center motel is a decent place to stay as long as short-term and I'm sure people would enjoy it because of its location it's only a block from Safeway three blocks to Napa

The management at this place is awesome. Rooms could stand to be updated a little but it's safe and quiet here. I would recommend this place to someone on a shoestring budget because they're reasonably priced.
