The Hermitage Hotel

Amazing hotel with superb service and attention to detail. Every staff member from the initial vallet friendly smile, through professional and polite reception provides truly exceptional service. The rooms are spacious, with typical five star amenities, yet this hotel goes above and beyond, with such details as turndown service, with fresh bowl of fruit and mints by your bed, even organizing your luggage on stands. The decor of the entire historical property is outstanding. Lots of history to immerse yourself in. The famous bathrooms on lower level, the gallery, the foyer, all truly exceptional. Gym is spacious and well equipped even with Peloton bike among other equipment. Location is also great, close enough to Broadway but away from all the noise.

Amazing experience overall. The hotel staff were very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the town. The Jean Georges touches blew me away. I was able to enjoy the caviar toast and crispy rice just like NYC. The bar tenders and evening management were excellent. The breakfast staff were exceptional. They were extremely polite and professional, my eggs were cooked to PERFECTION. Highly recommended.

All right, let me explain my review. 10 years ago I got married here and it was the most fabulous experience I could have ever expected. Why didn't I give it all five stars? I'm not a fan of downtown. That's it. Now, I stayed in a suite that evening, which was amazing, but I've been back and it's just really nice all together. The valet, door men, to reception and all, they are so supportive and friendly. Really quite an experience if you're interested in not another cookie cutter hotel. It has history and elegance. Definitely recommend

We truly felt special and pampered at this hotel. From the front desk staff to the doormen, everyone was friendly, gracious and accommodating. |The rooms are huge and very well appointed. Beautiful bathrobes and wonderful amenities in the bathroom including a huge tub. They even offer to fill it full of bubbles upon request. Lots of choices for pillows, too, which is nice because my Husband and I like different pillows. |The coffee in the morning is a nice touch and delicious but don’t stay out too late because coffee service stops at 9 am - really my only complaint if that even counts. We will be back. Don’t stay anywhere else. Stay here!!

This place is incredible. Must stay. Staff was attentive and courteous - especially the door/bell persons. The test of a quality establishment is not whether something goes wrong, but if something goes wrong does the establishment make it right or not, and the hiccup we had was made right.||It’s one of the few classy old style hotels left that hasn’t been completely ruined by some mega hotel corporate overlord that squeezes all of the charm out of the place. Cannot say enough nice to things about it other than, the price for this level of hotel in Nashville is the same as what the motel 6 in Hollywood costs - stay here! You won’t regret it!
