The Heritage Inn

This was our first time staying in Cape May. We chose here based on reviews.|Pros: Good location near the beach, restaurants, and sights. Cleanliness. Pool seemed clean, but small. We didn't use it. Wifi, tv, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker all were good. Bathtub was accessible.|Rooftop lounge was nice.|Cons: Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Towels seemed worn. We were only given one hand towel. No lotion was given. Parking lot was nearby, but was tight. No elevator. Stairs can be a little tight. ||It was a decent place, but we would try a different place next time.

Another great stay at the Heritage! We just spent a long weekend there and just got home. It was wonderful. We book the same room at the same time every year. Gwen’s family and staff were so accommodating to any request we had. Our room (22) was clean and comfortable with great views. The location is great with walking distance to everything. We especially like the rooftop lounge area where you can play tunes and just relax. The pool looked great although we didn’t use it. We highly recommend the Heritage Inn!

The room was immaculate and comfortable.The atmosphere quiet and relaxing. The staff were wonderful, accommodating and helpful. The beach was right across the street. Anything you could want was in walking distance. Many eateries, ice cream, arcades, shopping. The pool is the size of a pool you might have at home, but was never crowded. A mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot guarantees you can have some food and beverages on hand. I would absolutely recommend The Heritage Inn to family and friends and would stay there again

I loved my stay here. The Inn is so conveniently located. The staff was delightful and accommodating. This was my first trip to Cape May and the Heritage Inn. I would most definitely return. The only warning is that there are no elevators. So, if you are handicapped, stick to the first floor. We will request 1st floor when we return.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and there was mold in our room on night 1 We asked to change rooms because the mold smell was so unbearable that we couldn't breathe and had to open windows. The second room we were given was nicer and there was no mold but there was a mildew smell unfortunately and they refused to give us a refund for our first night. Overall very overpriced and overrated. The terrace was very nice but the furniture was torn up and didnt look like the pictures.
