The Glover Park Hotel Georgetown

What I loved most about this hotel was the spa located right inside the property. From the incredible scent that greets you the moment you walk in, to the equally incredible manager who welcomes you — everything creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Seeing the manager’s calm energy and genuinely relaxed vibe makes you want to try every single treatment they offer. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating — truly flexible and amazing at working with clients. The spa itself also has a stunning design. I tried the infrared halo sauna, and I was absolutely blown away. I highly recommend it to everyone — you will feel like you’ve been reborn. I wish this wonderful manager continued success and all the very best. I’m so grateful to her for everything.

Hotel is generally fine. Location is perfect, embassies are close. Rooms are old but good. I don't understand idea of wall-to-wall carpet, but it seems to be standard in US. Hotel is clean. No noise walls between rooms, so if there is a night party next room, might need an ear plugs. Definite BIG minus is so called breakfast. They use disposable tableware, even fork and knife. And calling the place a restaurant. Feels like street food kiosk. The warm food is sometimes cold. "Oh, I forgot to change the disposable heater, sorry..."|I don't generally understand what americans eat in the morning, only pancakes and coffee? But it might be too much to learn from other places from the world, what kind is a decent breakfast. Summary is still that I can manage until the lunch time.

The first time I stayed here was simply because it was the closest hotel to where I needed to be, but I was pleasantly surprised and booked twice since then. It was very convenient to have a Whole Foods and CVS down the block. The rooms were large and for the rates I paid they were nicer than I expected. During my last stay the toilet was running when I walked into the room. I called the front desk and a person came to fix it within a few minutes. This last time I booked, my plans changed at the last minute and the manager was very accommodating.

Overall, the hotel is nice — cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located right in the area of many embassies and consulates, which is especially convenient if you're visiting for official matters. However, considering the price, I expected a bit more. For this cost, the hotel could either offer higher quality or be priced a little more reasonably.
