Customer Reviews
The room is very comfortable and the staff are very nice. The location is good but check-in is not great. We could not enter the check-in area due to the narrow entrance and the number of vehicle being worked by the valet team. The app and website advertises dining options. The restaurant is only used for breakfast and brunch (weekends). The dinner menu is a few light bites and over priced bar food. Dinner is ordered at the lounge bar and not in the restaurant. We are HH Gold members and HGV owners. I definitely expected more from a Curio Collection
Positive: Beautiful and trendy with excellent staff Negative: No, it was lovely all the say around
My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The property is in tip-top shape. The architect and interior designer did a wonderful job. Decorations are warm throughout the hotel and the bar area is stunning - great place to relax and chat. Our room was very well appointed and had all that you would expect at this price point. I was very pleased with the front desk; they were very helpful and courteous as was the valet. |The gym was a good size and had all the equipment needed for a workout. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and our omelets were great, as was the service. The only thing that I didn't care for is the $35/night parking, which seemed pricey to me.
Potential for Greatness The Foundry has so much going for it and is a terrific choice when staying in Asheville. Its central location makes it easy to walk to excellent restaurants, plus The Refinery, conveniently located in the hotel, is an excellent breakfast spot. The building itself is beautiful: a converted steel factory with high ceilings, large windows, and thoughtful design touches throughout. From the large, inviting common space with multiple seating areas to the perfectly placed shelf in the room for a makeup bag, the details feel intentional. Valet parking was simple and flexible, with a flat fee, unlimited in-and-outs, and an easy text to request the car. The only area that seemed to miss the mark was housekeeping. On our second day, we returned to an unserviced room after re
Stayed at this location several nights during vacation in Asheville NC during the holidays. Very nice rooms, very attentive staff and the bartenders were amazing and made fantastic drinks. Only thing that could make it better is if there were a nearby parking lot so you didn't have to deal with valets. Although they were good too, i rather self park than have to request and wait for my car.
