Albemarle Inn

This was such a fantastic place to stay. Everything was so cozy, the furniture and fixtures were stunning, it's quiet and nice, and everything else you can imagine was good too. Sitting in the lobby and looking at that amazing fireplace was so pleasing. I do have one thing to point out. This wasn't an issue I had, but older people or people with disabilities should watch for slanting or uneven floors. Our bathroom floor slanted, and if it gets wet, that could lead to a fall. Just be careful. The staff was great. We barely interacted with them, but what little we conversation we had was professional and friendly. I 100% recommend staying here.

Laurie was incredibly kind and friendly. She offered several gluten free items for breakfast for my dietary needs. I am madly in love with the giant bedroom door to our room and our room offered plenty of space for our clothes and seating . Our bed in the Old Oak was quite comfortable. The atmosphere of the inn was super cozy as the fire blazed in the fireplace. We would happily stay here again. One note is that as a light sleeper and having guests in rooms above ours, I am glad we brought our noise makers to cover some of the other guests’ noise that is unavoidable.

The Inn is very nice and nicely maintained. The location is excellent as we could walk to the Grove Park Inn and not have to pay the expensive parking. The beds were great and the Inn was quiet making for a good night's sleep. However, there was a glitch with us getting access to the Inn as we advised them we would be arriving a few hours after the 5:00pm check in time and they said they would leave us directions and the keys which they did. But there was a lack of detail in giving us two room keys and no front door key so we could not gain access to the Inn. It was cold and rainy and we had a long drive. So we called one of the two after-hour "emergency" numbers. The first number said the mailbox was full which is not a good thing. The second number went to voicemail. Several minutes

We just spent the weekend there with some friends. Absolutely great B&B, neat old time atmosphere, good breakfast, super customer service, and great location. Super modern updated bathrooms. We’re planning another trip there soon and we will use this is our go to stay in Asheville.

Beautiful, clean, and historic house in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was on the second floor and it was spacious with a king sized bed. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. The bathroom was clean.||The Inn also has EV chargers onsite that was included in the stay at no extra charge. 2 Tesla (NACS) chargers and 1 non-Tesla (CCS1) charger. It was great to charge up at the Inn and not have to find a public charger in Asheville.||We enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. ||Suggestion for Staff: Alert guests upon arrival of possible bear making his 'rounds'.||My wife was in the room on the second story looking out the window while I was getting the bags from the truck.
