⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was hands-down the best hotel experience we’ve had in Virginia Beach. My husband and I stayed February 14–20 at Founders Inn and Spa, originally planning just a two-day Valentine’s getaway — and it turned into one of the most exceptional stays we’ve had in years. From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating. We stayed in a King room in the Jamestown Lodge, and housekeeping checked in daily with incredible attentiveness. Even the smallest request was met with, “We’ll take care of that for you.” I truly felt cared for. This hotel is an absolute let down. They upcharge for rooms that are out of order. Our tv in our room did not work the entire time we stayed here and the hotel did nothing. The brunch is absolutely disgusting and the service is abysmal. And the worst part is our hotel room was wide open when we got there the door was just wide open not locked or anything. The hotel did not off any apologizes or solutions for these issues and still charged us full price. We will never stay here again and will encourage everyone not to as well.|Edit:|Almost 1 year later we tried this hotel again. The hotel was average and a little disappointed for my anniversary. I paid for breakfast and wasn’t told the Christmas Eve breakfast was reservations only. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and the breakfast they offered was not up to par from what I was offered the day prior. The receptionist lady tried to solve the issue and was very nice but the issue wasn’t solved.

We booked a 4 night stay Feb 13th-16th. It was quite disappointing. The room sofa had stains & there was hair on the floor in front of the shower. The room heat was not working properly. The thermostat showed 65 degrees. We called Guest Services who did not pick up after 30 rings. We then called from outside number & call was picked up quickly. Maintenance staff came quickly as well & advised they knew of the problem & it had been corrected with heat to come within 30 minutes. Heat never came. We slept with our overcoats covering. We were not offered to move to another room. In the am thermostat showed 62 degrees. We checked out & canceled the remaining days. Front desks staff was kind, offered apologies & credited the stay. We moved to Crown Pointe Hotel & received excellent & warm servi

Beautiful property with university setting. Spacious rooms, some with fireplaces. This is a Hilton property and thus, must be competitive.|Best experience I've ever had at any price. On-site restaurant is finest ever. |A Norfolk-Virginia Beach jewel. We are looking for an excuse to return, just to enjoy another great experience.
