Pretty cool hotel. Rooms are outdated as most state but not terrible. The bellman was phenomenal. So friendly and accommodating! I wish I had gotten his name but he did say he has been there for 24 years! We did have to have bedding changed on one of the beds due to stains but the housekeeping attendant was extremely nice and very apologetic. She even provided us with coupons for the breakfast buffet. Front desk check in was just ok. Room service was a joke. We called to have 2 drinks and a piece of cake brought up and was told it was busy so may take about 30 minutes...which we were ok with. Over an hour later we decided to call and cancel...we were tired of waiting. They apparently couldn't remember what room it needed to go to and tried to deliver to 2 other rooms. Mostly fr

Getting the room verified and checked in were the main issues, but once resolved our stay was excellent. Just what you’d expect from a historic hotel with a few upgrades. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating considering the circumstances. Loved being able to explore the hotel and the bar is great. Having a great view of the Alamo was interesting if you like the historical essence of San Antonio. Extremely convenient location and we will definitely be coming back in the future!!

I had an amazing experience during my visit! The valet staff truly stood out with their kindness and exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. A special shout-out to Qu Daniels and the management team—Qu was incredibly helpful, attentive, and ensured all my needs were met with professionalism and care. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic value and a must if interested in visiting the Alamo as it's the closest hotel to the historic fortress. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were nice. We had a view of the Alamo and it was picture perfect! The only downside is the bathrooms were a little weird layout wise. I wouldn't recommend staying in one of these rooms with anyone but your spouse as there is very little privacy. Other than that the rooms were very clean and modern and the hotel itself has an illustrious history that history lovers and paranormal experience seekers will thoroughly enjoy. Positive: It is such a beautiful hotel! The staff was so courteous & helpful. The view from my 7th floor room was amazing! I cannot wait to stay there again. Negative: I wish they would have stated on the website that the pool was closed due to maintenance. There was no water in it. It was 101 degrees that day & I was looking so forward to cooling off in the pool.
