The Emily Hotel

We used The Emily Hotel for our wedding room block and it was the perfect home base for our wedding weekend. The location made it easy for guests to get to our rehearsal dinner and welcome party, and it was a quick trip to our wedding venue as well. The hotel accommodated many of our out-of-town guests, and we heard nothing but positive feedback about their stays. The rooms and spaces are beautiful, and the service was wonderful throughout the weekend. I especially loved using The Emily Suite for the bridesmaids to get ready—it was the perfect space for hair and makeup and made the morning feel relaxed and special. Our stay was phenomenal. We may have been the only one with a child (not completely sure) but they were amazing and made us feel very welcome. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the valet service is prompt and the food was amazing! We only stayed one night but we will definitely stay again if in Chicago! Just 15 minutes from most museums/tourist attractions, this hotel is a gem. Thank you for making our son's first Chicago trip truly unforgettable.

I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are terrible. There isn't a drawer in the place, you can't put anything away. The carpet is dingy and worn. The floor under the carpet is lumpy. Yes lumpy. Feels like they're covering something. The bed is very low with a thin uncomfortable mattress. Everything just feels cheap. Even the closet doesn't have handles, just a hole in the pegboard door. The staff is fine and nice enough. The bar is passable, though we left after just one drink to find something nicer. The only redeemable quality is the location. But even within West Loop it's a couple blocks outside of the action. Like I said, I wouldn't stay here again. And I can't recommend it.

The hotel itself is very nice - classy look from the outside, comfortable inside, with plenty of seating in the lobby and bar to hang with friends. The rooms are nicely appointed and minimalist at the same time, giving it a chic industrial feeling with warmth. The beds felt firm but we slept extremely well. The bar has great cocktails, the coffee bar had good coffee, all for a very reasonable price. And in a prime location for entertainment, only a couple blocks from public transit. Amazing stay, will definitely look to the Emily to make my next trip to Chicago just as memorable!

Gerard is the man! I had an amazing stay at The Emily Hotel in Chicago. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive. The room was beautifully designed—modern, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The location is perfect, especially if you want to explore Fulton Market and the surrounding neighborhoods. Everything from great restaurants to nightlife was just steps away. The hotel itself has a great vibe, stylish common areas, and an overall upscale but relaxed feel. Customer service really stood out—everyone went out of their way to make sure my stay was smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Emily Hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.
