The Cranberry, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We arrived late and in a blizzard to the Cranberry only to find we had mistakenly booked a technically non-refundable rate for the wrong date! They did not even hesitate to solve the issue, even calling a manager at their home to assist when the computer refused (again, it was late). We were so appreciative. On top of great service, the room was large, clean, and recently updated. We will definitely visit again.

Our stay at The Cranberry was awesome and we are very glad we found this very accommodating hotel to stay at during our time in the Morgantown area. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was very spacious as well as extremely clean. We were quite impressed with everything including your wonderful front desk staff. The breakfast buffet was perfect in every way and we were so glad to have that amenity. The room had every amenity we wanted especially the Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. The bathroom was very clean and spacious too. Having a luggage cart was a plus as we were in town for our son’s wedding and we had a lot of belongings to bring into the room. Loved the fact that this was a pet friendly hotel. We stayed on the ground floor in a room that backed to the trees and interstate with a balcony. Beautiful room. I especially loved the walk-in showers. We were on the first floor which had high ceilings and made the room feel even more spacious. The room was very clean and smelled new. The staff was exceptional. I see others on here complained about the noise from the interstate, but we never heard anything if the balcony door was closed. My only complaint was the number of webs with living spiders on the balcony. There were also quite a few spider nests on the ceiling of the balcony. This hotel is great. Staff is very accommodating. Very clean, each room has a balcony. The breakfast is excellent but unfortunately they charge five dollars a person. One of the benefits of this hotel is that a restaurant (The Tropics) is literally next door.

Very nice hotel in great location. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast included. Staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
