Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Morgantown

stayed here while learning to snowboard in winterplace. it was nice. shampoo and conditioner they offer do not treat curls nicley, but oh well. beds were nice and heater did not fall off wall. very good. seemed fancy. you have good waffle makers, and bagels. pool wasnt very warm, and the room was echoey (which is cool) would stay here again, but would skip pool and bring my own shampoo and conditioner

I stayed in a very spacious suite, but the room lacked cleanliness. The amount of hair in the bathroom was disgusting. Hair hanging off the bathtub faucet, hair in the drain, hair over the sink counter. There was hair everywhere. It does not look like there was an attempt to clean the bathroom. The fact that I was the one who had to clean it out was ridiculous. I am fortunate enough that I carry disinfected wipes. I used the whole pack. The rest of the room was not clean either, with a stain on the rug and the couch. This room is definitely not suitable for barefoot walking unless you’re prepared to catch something. Shoes on at all times.||If your room is located towards the rear of the building, it will be subject to significant road noise due to its proximity to a major thoroughfare.

Stayed overnight passing thru from our NC trip back home to Toronto. Front desk staff member was very friendly and check in very quick. Rooms and bathroom were bigger than expected. Bed very comfy. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Cook was very nice kept buffet area clean at all times. Very glad we stopped in.

Positive: The staff at check in Negative: when getting breakfast there was a lady that worked there obviously watching are every move from the breakfast station to the coffee station. So strange, should have asked her if there's a problem ?

My stay here was subpar at best. The staff, however, were amazing and very helpful. The night clerk was working alone and was clearly overwhelmed handling constant phone calls and guest check-ins. Despite this, he kept a smile on his face and addressed all our issues professionally. The hotel itself was the main concern. The carpets were stained and ripped in areas. The linens were clean and fresh, but there was no proper comforter—only a thin covering. The towels were the typical low-quality hotel towels. Our first room was 308. I always check beds at hotels for signs of bed bugs. While a bed bug cover was present, it was only the fitted-sheet style rather than a full encasement.
