The Cove at Yarmouth, a VRI resort

The Cove was such a great hotel, staff were kind and helpful as we were checking in and out of the hotel. Another thing that i need to mention is the pool, i'm talking high quality pools, yeah you heard me right pools this place has 2 pools with in the summer time you have 2 options. Both have a near by restaurant supplying snacks for your kids and friends but also some wine and alcohol. Also not to mention the rooms which came with a great variety of rooms allowing people to choose from giant 2 story rooms to smaller more affordable 2 bedrooms. Overall we liked the Cove, especially the location. Nice recreation facilities - ping pong, pool, swimming pools, hot tub. Go to ‘bagels & beyond’ for coffee and breakfast, and to the antique store just down the road from it (same side)!||||A whale-watching trip gave us a lovely glimpse of a dolphin pod. Ate a variety of seafood - many great restaurants and crab shacks. Hyannis has a great strip of shopping downtown. The Kennedy museum is nice - thankfully, no RFK Jr exhibit :) Provincetown is a hoot - love the sex toys museum, funicula and Pilgrim’s Monument.||||We arrived late, and the Cove night clerk should’ve helped us better understand the room layout - it took quite awhile for us to find stairs and room location. Came down to the cape for a weekend of work, brought the family along so they can hang at the hotel while I was out. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. So many activities for the kids to do. The pool was awesome, and the restaurant was great too. The rooms were super clean and the hotel as a whole is very well maintained. 100% will stay here again in the near future.

This is a nice enough place, sort of like a "glorified" (upgraded) hotel, and the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable, even the couch bed. There are 2 full bathrooms in the units, one with a walk-in shower. However the units lack a full-sized refrigerator and have no freezer, and there is no cooking capability other than a microwave and toaster. That was a disappointing surprise, since we were there for a week. The indoor pool is very nice, and the hot tub was super hot (too hot, in my opinion). In the summer an outdoor pool is also available. The Rec Hall has lots of good indoor options, including courts, crafts, books, dvds & movies to borrow. There's a restaurant on the grounds, but we didn't go there; they don't post their prices online, which is a turn-off to me. There

We were only here for a few days for a family funeral. It was cold at the time so it was nice to be able to get to the lobby and pool area from inside the building which was expansive. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Kitchen area was nice, but cooking isn't allowed which is understandable. There are restaurants on site; one was closed for the season. I wouldn't mind coming back for an actual vacation.
