We have stayed here more than once and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are nice and clean and the property looks well maintained. We like the fact that the pool is partially indoor and partially outdoor. They have several gas fired outdoor fire pits with plenty of chairs to relax in. Also, a nice outdoor lounge serving cocktails if you want a drink while you sit outside by the fire. I also saw corn hole and lounging areas around the property. Classic rock and roll is always coming from the outdoor speakers at the perfect volume. I recommend that you try out the Freebird Motor Lodge on your next visit to The Cape.

I am obsessed with this hotel! Upon check in we were greeted warmly and offered complimentary Prosecco, such a nice touch! Our room was ready early, so we were able to check in and take advantage of the pool. Our room was clean and comfortable! The pool area is the real gem of the property. It’s sparkling clean, heated, and the hot tub is adorable. The fire pits were lovely to sit by when we arrived back at the end of the night. Overall, we had an outstanding stay! Prices are reasonable, plenty of close, free parking. Close to restaurants etc. We will definitely be back!

Don’t let the word motel discourage !!! The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained and doesn’t feel like a Motel at all!!! The property is the middle of Cape Cod! Which makes it easy to travel to surrounding areas! They maintain a very very clean area outside I saw staff cleaning several times a day!! Pool is heated and very clean same or hot tub! All the staff my wife and I came in contact with was so very nice and polite! They go above and beyond to make your stay a beautiful experience!! Now too the room! The bed omg it’s so comfortable I sleep like a baby our 5 days here you sink in and it feels like it cuddles you!!!! The room was so clean and put together!! Very big room has A/C and good heat! Has extra locks on the door so you feel safe and we sure did!!

Freebird is a unique, lovely place to stay. The vibe felt like classic rock and roll Palm Springs meets Cape Cod. After a long drive, I checked in and was greeted with a very sweet, helpful employee and much needed champagne. The champagne was unexpected and really hit the spot! The room was very nicely decorated and clean. I promptly went in the pool and hot tub which has a really fun atmosphere. In early October, the water was still very swimable. The music playing outside was a good mix and saved me from putting the tv on while getting ready which helped put me in vacation mode. Next time I come here, I look forward to seeing their hydrangeas and borrow one of the bikes. I truly enjoyed staying here! The hotel has a great location and the customer service was excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms have been nicely, renovated, and the pool and surrounding area look very inviting. However, our room felt damp inside, even after running the window air conditioner for over a day. The shower is also quite slippery, and it would be nice to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Coffee was provided, but some cream would be appreciated since not everyone drinks it black. Overall, a convenient place to stay with good service, but a few comfort updates would make it even better.
