The Collegiate Hotel at Auburn

We had a wonderful two-night stay just wrap up. The location couldn’t be better, right adjacent to campus and restaurants. The hotel is charming and very well—appointed, and all of the coziness of a boutique hotel but with a rooftop bar. Comfortable and clean, but shows the cool history of the building. The owner was very welcoming and sweet during our stay- authentic hospitality. Definitely check out Staks, the breakfast restaurant 5 min away for a great meal as well.

The Collegiate is my favorite place to stay in Auburn. The rooms are large and clean and well decorated, the lobby and bar area are comfortable and the outdoor spaces (with heaters when chilly) are my favorite. The main floor patio has great places to sit and is THE place to drink their complementary coffee in the morning. The rooftop patio has one of the best views in Auburn, looking right at Samford Hall.||The location also can't be beat. About a block to downtown, and a block to campus, it's close to everything. And the free golf cart shuttle brings all of Auburn's campus and restaurants within (cart and) walking distance. ||The creators and owners, Brian and Kim, go above and beyond. We had an awesome visit, and we will definitely come back! Their staff was amazing from check in to housekeeping to bartenders. Well done! Our daughter lived in this hotel when it was a dorm, so it was cool to see the beautiful renovations. Location is great for walking to campus. We will he back for sure.

The Collegiate Hotel is our top choice every time we visit our son at Auburn University! From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel so welcome, and the boutique charm sets it apart from any other stay in town. We love relaxing on the covered porch, enjoying the views from the rooftop deck, and of course the stylish, comfortable rooms. The location can’t be beat—just steps from campus and downtown—and the Auburn spirit shines throughout. Truly the perfect home away from home!

What a cozy place to stay in Auburn. We loved every minute. We found the staff to be so helpful and accommodating. The hotel offers many public spaces to relax and enjoy your company. The rooftop has a beautiful night time view and the side porch offers such a relaxing breeze while enjoying Auburn. We were there for our son’s wedding. We filled up the hotel that weekend. It was so special to be in a place that allowed us all to spill over after each of the events to unwind together! The Coho is so special!
