The Centennial Hotel

On a hill right above downtown Concord, this beautifully redone building was a perfect overnight stop for my wife and I while my band was in town to play.at a basement rock and roll club just down the street. The decor was tasteful with a chic 1940’s taste matched to the modern reappointments to the turreted brick building. Very cool. It was comfortable for us as a family — our son was along to sit in on piano at the gig — but very fun and romantic. It felt like a great facility for business travel too. It’s rare that a hotel can combine real romantic boutique vintage feel with business travel and event sensibilities. I was impressed.

My first stay in this stately manor was overall very good.|My room was nicely appointed and surprisingly large. The bed was very comfortable. |The only reason I didn't give a top rating is the heat in the bathroom only worked intermittently. Two full length windows made it a chilly experience.

Very nice renovated building with spacious rooms. Exceptional clean, welcoming and friendly. Convenient location and easy access to main routes.Service was extremely nice, all the comforts you could ask for. We got chocolate strawberries and a fruit and cheese tray delivered. awesome! Highly recommend both, the assortment and quality was matched by the presentation. We have traveled the world and this is a top notch place to stay, highly recommend. Stay at here and you will be glad you did!

Stayed at this hotel as it was listed on Concord Hospital's discounted lodging. Closest lodging to the Hospital. Beautiful, old hotel. If you are into modern buildings, this isn't for you. Restaurant on site was very convenient and had good food. I had reserved a handicap accessible room as my son is on crutches. Prior to our arrival, we were notified that the elevator was out of order and they had to move us. There were 6 steps to enter and exit the hotel. Shower wasn't safe for him to use because it lacked support bars. We made it work, but wasn't ideal. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I needed to be in Concord again!
