Comfort Inn Concord South End

The room had an odor. The mattress cover directly under the fitted sheet was visibly soiled with body fluids and probably had never been washed. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, However the bed was too gross for me to ever stay again.

The rooms are nice, the breakfast is decent, and the staff is nice. Affordable place to stay if you are in the Concord area. Rooms have complimentary postcards lol. Took off a star because it's a bit difficult to find your way into the parking lot and because the pool was closed (although the hotel next store was allowing guests from here use the pool, which was nice of them).

I would like to start off by saying that the front desk staff & the breakfast attendants were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly kind to me, my partner, and our dog. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out and made a strong positive impression on our stay. Secondly, I feel it’s important to address a false review left by a group of women who stayed in the room next door to us. They claimed that me and my partner were “screaming through the walls” and complained how they were charged an extra fee for smoking (& even put it in quotations as if they weren’t smoking at all and still got charged for it.) In reality, the situation was quite the opposite. This is a non-smoking hotel, yet the smell of weed was seeping into both

Lobby and food area very nice and clean, well stocked with fresh breakfast items, good variety. Coffee and hot chocolate available is very nice. Breakfast Girl keeps area very clean. Staff was attentive and friendly, asked if we needed anything. Renovation going on, pool closed. Rooms are in need of serious updating, we stayed last year at this time and still dated and used. TV/dresser drawers wouldn't stay shut, cardboard holding up one side under leg, bathroom cabinet was worn, toilet seat moves side to side. Room temp was comfortable. Hotel is in a convenient area, close to all local highways, good foods, fast and sit down.

We booked two king rooms - both of them smelled like smoke upon arrival. The front desk staff was SO kind and helpful when doing this. We were traveling in a group with children and another mom had this same issue and also had to change rooms. Our second room change was filthy. The bed sheets had blood on them - as well as many stains. In the other bathroom the toilet seat had human feces on the seat - as well as urine. I have photos of all of this. We would never stay again - especially considering only one room was taken off and we had issues with both. The hotel and the rooms that come with it is filthy and absolutely disgusting. Other than the front desk staff - the hotel was a complete dump.
