Courtyard by Marriott Concord

We took a family trip to Concord, New Hampshire to do a little sightseeing and visit the ice castles. We had two conjoining king rooms. It was my husband, my best friend myself and our two children. The rooms were a little small, but we’re clean and it worked. The couch was uncomfortable, but the bed was so comfortable. I wish I could’ve taken it home with me. The staff was very friendly. The children enjoyed the pool that was very clean. It was very slippery on the outside like they need to put down more mats or something but overall, it was good. We did think we had a room with a tub but it was a stand up shower which was fine for us adults but hard with the kids. Overall I’d give the hotel a solid 4.7 and would definitely come back. We stayed on July 4th for one night. Lady who checked us in was accommodating, polite & we appreciate her giving us all the Marriott Bonvoy’s perks we are entitled to as higher tier members. Room was comfortable & everything worked. However, we had an issue with some of the things related to the cleanliness of the room, and when I went back to the front desk, they had another lady on duty, who was dismissive, had an attitude & denied me speaking with the manager. She was still there the following morning & her attire partially revealed cleavage when she was leaning forward or moving. Just like any Courtyard by Marriott, hotel had a bistro, which we did not utilize, because we decided it would be a better value to go out to breakfast. Clean rooms, bathrooms could use a little more attention to detail with cleaning, such as the corners of the shower(strange reddish color visible). Other than that, we love coming here for the pool and hot tub, and the bar, it's perfect and convenient, you don't have to leave and risk your license. In house restaurant as well with excellent food. All around still satisfied, and I'm very picky.

Positive: "" Negative: There is a large homeless encampment next store. It makes you feel uncomfortable if you have to park across the street from the hotel.

Do NOT Stay here. Our first room had every body fluid possible on BOTH comforters. The man working was very kind and really did try to help. The Second room had old pink (unknown fluid) stains on top as well as comforters. Third room has dried mucus on one comforter. We checked in at 8:30pm and check out by 11:00pm with no other room booked yet. I used Marriott points to book this 4 night stay. They did refund the points but I ended up booking at Hotel Concord for $300 a night. The manager did respond and of course found nothing that my family saw and took pictures of…so take that for what its worth as well.
