The Breakers Resort Inn

A nice place to stay in a great location. The room we had (202) was a great size, had the amenities we needed, and the the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The view from the balcony was excellent. The hotel is a little dated and the elevator super slow. The parking lot was tight but works and its nice not to have to pay extra for parking. The pool is your basic swimming pool and was a little too cold to enjoy whem we were there. But it was clean. Finding your way from the lobby to the beach was a little complex and you end up walking down the ramp to the parking lot to get to the beach which doesn't feel super safe. It was fairly quiet when we were there. But we were there off season. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful any time we needed assistance.

Positive: The ocean balcony view was nice. Negative: There were cockroaches everywhere! The room smelled disgusting no matter how much we tried to air it out. Multiple lights didn’t work. Appliances were dirty.

My wife and I were for our 9th Anniversary. The Desk staff were pleasant/helpful/ fun. Went to take a shower, Icy Cold water! Maint gave us less than 5 min cold water. Called again still icy cold water. Maintenace was Rude, Attitude, very condescending. Seemed angry to have to do his job.

The room with the hot tub/jet tub in the room was awesome, and the TV swivels so you can watch from the tub or bed! Had a nice view of the ocean, beach, and boardwalk plus we could see the end of the pier. The floors are tile so bring extra socks and/or slippers if you get cold easily.

No complaints. We had the top floor hot tub room. The roof top private patio was a great surprise perk to the room. It wasn't on the booking site. Convenient location almost midway on the boardwalk.
