The Boulder Broker Inn

Tales of the Broke and Broker. Be honest, we're all looking at the Broker Inn because it's the cheapest hotel in Boulder. We were in town for a concert and if you're someone just looking for a cheap, convenient place just to sleep, then this is the place for you. The hotel itself has easy, free parking. The lobby is old school and quite beautiful and the front staff desk were very nice and a cash snack bar open all night. The room... it was a clean, place to sleep. We had a king sized bed in a brown and dimly lit 1970s friend's basement. Old bed, old pillows, old plumbing. Smells musty, but wasn't dusty. The hotel itself is perfectly located for multiple bus lines and access to campus. There are also good, convenient restaurants and a Sprouts. 4 stars, but 10/10 would stay again.

We stayed at Boulder Broker Inn for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend for the Georgia Tech - CU game ( Go Jackets!!). We picked it for the price and the proximity to campus. It was about a 25 minute walk to Folsom Field. Our booking was through Expedia and was non- refundable.|| The lobby is attractive and inviting with a small coffee bar near the check-in desk. We only saw the doors to the big room and pool area open once. No one mentioned anything about that area so, based on other reviews, I assume it’s still closed ||Now the room…. Fourth floor facing the parking lot. On the plus side, heavy blackout curtains made the room super dark at night. The water pressure in the shower was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable.||On the negative side, which is extensive …. Exposed electrical

We picked this hotel as it is really close to the University.|The pictures show this lovely hotel with a bar and game room, well the bar and game room were not opened as they are under renovation! Would we have stayed there if we knew this? no!|the hotel itself could be really nice but the rooms are outdated, the lobby smells of pot, it just felt dirty. The only thing good about this hotel the beds were pretty comfortable, and the shower was good, other than that not sure if we would stay there again!

This place is a little bit dated, and a little bit odd. The front entryway and stuff are all made out to be pretty formal/ fancy, but the dark wood in the rooms is a little much, carpet seems old, bathroom floor was a little sticky, floor to ceiling mirrors in the room was a bit odd as well. The top of the bed was completely detached from the bed itself, and the furniture kind of matches-ish. (Kind of seems thrifted) Besides that, the room was clean, the bedding was clean, so it's a fine place to stay.

The hotel is nice enough but I only gave it 4 star because during our stay pretty much all the amenities were closed, pool area, bar, restaurant and spa, but had it all been open I probably would have to go with at least 4.5. There was a nice coffee and light meal cafe open and a beauty salon open that looks nice. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated. The rooms are good. The employees are friendly. A few stores just in front and a one minute walk, the Dark Horse restaurant was a good experience. It is all supposed to be open in a couple of months.
