The Boardwalk Inn

This cozy oceanfront stay was absolutely amazing! It was extremely hard to find any dog friendly places that don’t have a weight limit. I have the kindest 80 pound boy and a sweet, slightly anxious 60 pound girl we got from our local shelter. To finally be able to take them to the beach and give them that experience was wonderful. The place was very clean, had cool A/C, hot water, functional stove, microwave, convenient sized fridge, suitcase stands, a smart TV, pots & pans, all the works! Just what we needed for our stay. There was even a broom we used to sweep up all of the dog hair. We were able to keep in contact with the owners and ask questions. We stayed here for two days the week after Labor Day and took advantage of the lower rates and |quieter atmosphere. Neither the beach nor local restaurants were crowded, and the weather was perfect. If you appreciate the ambience of a quiet, old school beach motel combined with updated rooms, a pool, and easy parking, you will love this place. If you want a balcony overlooking the ocean and the amenities of a generic chain hotel, maybe this isn’t the place for you. The rooms are small but incredibly efficiently and attractively designed, almost like a cabin on a ship, but we managed to find room for our dog’s bed. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom, while small was elegantly designed with plenty of storage space. The rocking-chair porch (they called it a balcony)

I stayed here for a quick getaway weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The view was fantastic. The rooms were clean anything you needed they were on it. I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend it after during the summer you have to see, which is right across the street to me. The number one restaurant and nightlife in Carolina Beach. You would want to go to. I have also stayed at their motel in Kerri Beach and highly recommend that one also very clean. Pool was fantastic. I'm coming back in the fall or late summer and definitely will be staying at the Broadwalk Inn

Rude front desk No, it was definitely this place. I called this morning and spoke to someone on the phone. I recently lost my husband to cancer and was looking for a room for my dog and I to stay a night. This was his favorite beach. The lady on the phone was rude. I left this review immediately after calling so I am definitely 100% not mistaken. After speaking with her, I took my business elsewhere.

This place is super nice appears to be freshly remodeled. We are very pleased with it. No problems here. Also customer service is alive and well here assure you.
