The Big Pine Lodge

Had a bachelor party weekend for my son. Excellent time, great accommodations many things to see and do including canoeing and golf.

This cabin was excellent for our group of 8 adults celebrating several 40th birthdays over 4 days. The cabin was clean, well stocked, spacious, and comfortable. Hocking Hills provides many opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy the area. The location of the cabin was the right distance to many of the areas attractions. Evelyn was always available to answer our questions. She was kind and forthcoming. Upon completion of our stay, the cabins clean up routine request to guests was easy to complete. We would be happy to stay again with Cut Above Cabins!

Just stayed here over the weekend! Where do i start about this place! We came for a bachelor party and just looking at the pictures on the site, it does not do it justice! This cabin was amazing and had ample room for everyone who came. It was like every corner that you turned, there was something new we missed in the house. My only regret is not staying here longer than the two nights. Cut Above Cabins were great, went through the whole process with me up till the time we stayed! Great company with even better cabins. Definitely will recommend this to anyone.

Great place for a grown up getaway! Not a place I would take little ones if you don’t plan on heavily supervising to keep them from getting into stuff/redecorating. We had a good time with family, well decorated for the holiday. Mood was set well with music lightly playing upon arrival. Lots of little note cards in important places around the cabin letting you know how to operate equipment. I was not directly involved with check-in/out process but was under the impression that there was mention of fees for this that and the other, making the whole process a little scary for the person in charge, they were in fear for their wallet. We would visit again for sure!

The cabin itself is very nice, but don't get your hopes up for the entertainment options. The pool table is not level and has extremely lumpy felt, the swing is very creaky and typically very dirty, and the air hockey table is heavily damaged.
