The Bellevue Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

There were a lot of mixed reviews about the hotel so initially I was hesitant to book, but I’m so glad I did. The staff were all very friendly, from check in to check out to even the staff placed throughout the hotel, including Valet. They were all very warm, friendly, and not hesitant to ask if we needed assistance. The staff at the gym were also very kind as well. It’s been a long time since I went somewhere and they were genuinely friendly. I’ve been to multiple Hyatt’s and the service and friendliness here was far better than say, Park Hyatt of NYC. The gym was really nice and it’s great that guests can use it. They have cold and hot plunges and the lap pools are very nice, and so is the track. The Bellevue is officially one of my favorite stays. The one-bedroom suite was so comfortable it felt like my own private apartment. I loved the blend of historic charm and impeccable maintenance. Special shoutout to the guest services team for being so nice and professional. Also, the fact that I actually used the Sporting Club gym (and I never work out on vacation) says everything you need to know about how great this place is. Can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at the Bellevue Hotel! The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff (Genesis and Mike (?)) were incredibly friendly and kind to my children, which made the experience even more special. My son lost his truck in the lobby as we were checking in on a busy holiday weekend, and it was found and returned to him by the front desk staff the next day! We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a nice variety of fresh options and eggs made to order. Jordan at the Pergola restaurant is awesome! It's clear that the hotel takes pride in providing excellent service. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are wonderful.

The hotel is a beautiful and well restored and maintained piece of history. With this comes inadequate elevator service during peak traffic times as only two elevators service the hotel floors. The staff were friendly and efficient though we didn’t ask for much. You will also need to haul heavy bags up the stairs whether you use the front or side doors.||||We booked the room as an upgrade for a larger room and it turned out to be a huge box with a view of the 12th floor atrium lobby, which alternated between feeling like a tomb, to a yoga class with an instructor calling out moves, to a family whose children liked to run around shouting. I called it my “cell block”. The fact that the room was facing inside wasn’t disclosed during booking and by the time I realized, we were unpacked. I was

Positive: The staff Negative: We ordered room service for breakfast. We were so disappointed when it arrived in a paper bag on plastic with plastic utensils. I had a hard time cutting my eggs Benedict. It was disgusting. I never would’ve expected that sort of food at our top hotel.
